4 Heart-Shaped Healthy Recipes

To get in the spirit of Valentine’s Day, I typically make something heart-shaped. In my opinion, snacks and treats just taste better when they are in a cute shape! This Valentine’s Day I’m going to make heart-shaped pizza — a cauliflower pizza crust to be exact (if that sounds like fun to you, get the recipe for cauliflower pizza crust). But there are so many heart-shaped recipes you can have fun with if you’re looking to give your honey a homemade treat (or treat yourself!). If you need a little inspiration or last minute Valentine’s Day ideas, here are four delicious recipes you can make tonight or even tomorrow morning.

Granola Smart Hearts
(photo above) Gluten free, dairy free, no-bake and super satisfying, these hearts are high in fiber and protein to keep you energized all day long on Valentine’s Day.

Raw Chocolate Hearts
I can’t think of a better excuse than Valentine’s Day to make raw chocolate. Not that I need an excuse, but making the raw chocolate into heart-shaped delicious treats just makes it that much more special. Make these for your sweetheart and they will be feeling the love.

Blueberry & Mango Gummies
Gummy candies are a classic sweet favorite and since most of the ones on grocery store shelves contain ingredients that we should try and stay away from, you can make your own!

Here’s to Your Heart Smoothie
Okay, it’s not heart shaped necessarily but if you present this amazing smoothie in a nice glass and cut an apple the way Stacy did in this photo, then you have yourself a lovely recipe.
